so many questions I dont know where to start. who did your surgury? Im a liitle worried about the two week liquid diet as Im always hungry, Ive been doing alot of online search about the surgury and the diet. I go to the support meeting, What advice would you recomend for adjusting smoothly to this new life. Whats life like now 4 you. my morbidities are diabetes, bp, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cronic pain. I would like to walk my dog and not sit every 2 blocks. My goal is to get a life and participate in my world. until my right knee gave out I was much more active. I see specialist on thursday hoping shot will help. Tell me about your journey and how you feel today. was it an emotional adjustment to be thin. Was your family behind you. look forward to your reply

Wow...sooo excited for you. I have been in this process for 5 years and am finally going to meet with the surgeon on June 8th to set a date!! Im in the NW as well but in Oregon. I wish you much luck and a super speedy recovery!!!! Oh...and little or NO pain..hehe : )

Hi Tami. I also live in Toledo. I had gastric bypass 5 years ago and lost 220lbs. Since then, I have gained and lost and gained again. I'm still down almost 200lbs but I need to work on getting it off again. I need support and I believe the best support comes from someone who has had the surgery too. Feel free to message me back. I'm 41 yr old Female with 2 Lap Band procedures under my belt. (Excuse the pun 
). I live in NJ close to NYC. I'm still struggling with my weight loss. The band works perfectly well, unfortunately my mind not so much. Would love to have a pen pal who can just listen and understand what I am going thru. Because some days I just need someone who "gets it' and I'll gladly reciprocate the pep talks. Plus, I'm an encyclopedia of USELESS info so we can chat about anything else too. I'm addicted to my Blackberry and am eternally messaging and emailing. Sad but true.... So if anyone is interested let me know.,..
