Hi sismargie and others who have replied! My name is Kathi. I am a devout Christian living life day by day. I have not been approved for surgery yet, but hope to be in the next couple weeks! I go for a supervised wgt. loss meeting in 2 wks, already had psych eval.(scary for me) and waiting on approval! Please pray I hear soon about approval and that I will be okay with the decision the staff makes! Nice to meet ya'll, and let me know how things keep going. I am new to this site and all this forum stuff so hopefully I find my weigh(way ) back to here. Hello everyone,
My name is Tanya and I live in Concordia, MO.  I have seen my dr twice I also have 4 more months to go.  Surgery should be around Oct./Nov.  Right now I am having everything possible go wrong.  Gone to heart dr and had to have ecocardiagram and stress test.  Dr. finally cleared me with the heart now I have to have sleep apnea test.  I am almost to the point of thinking is it all worth it cuz everything seems to be wrong.  But I am gonna keep trucking along in hopes it will all be over soon and I will be more healthy than what I am now.  Any advice would be great!!!

Hey y'all my name is Candice and I am currently stationed in Idaho with my husband who serves in the United States Air Force. I had my RNY June 24th last year. I have lost 75 lbs but have not lost anything in the last 4 months. I have fibromyaliga and a heart condition that have placed so many limits on my life that make me want to scream. I have a little girl who just turned 5 and will start school in the fall. I am currently a full time student going for my Associate in Business Admin. I am also a medical assistant and phlebotomist. I live about and hour and a half outside of Boise and that is the closest civilization around here. I don't have much of a support group as far as people who have had the surgery or who are going to have it. Its really hard because people just don't seem to understand what it is like to be so overwhelmed by weight and pain mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am grateful for the support I do have. My husband is a wonderful man and is my best friend. i could tell him that I wanted to run away and join the circus or dress up like Ronald McDonald and dance on the corner and he would support me. My daughter is my biggest driving force. I want so badly to run and play with her without hurting or carrying extra "baggage" around with me. Hopefully I can find so friends on here that I can chat with and build friendships and a support group. I am a very good listener and love to take care of everyone as best I can. I'm having surgery in July and I'm having the same feelings. My biggest fear is that I'm going to fail, but I'm trying to stay positive. When I initially decided to have the lapband I only told a couple of my friends just in case I fail at weight loss again, but now just about everyone knows. I just don't want to disappoint them or myself.   Let's keep in touch!
