Hi! Congratulations on your weight loss! I have 20 years on you, I'm almost 45. ;-) I had my surgery in 2002. I lost 110 lbs. My weight has been creeping up again and it's time to get back on track. I'm looking for people to support and be supportive in the weight loss journey.

Hi everyone,
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I went for my last test last night, the sleep study test. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Wasn't to sure I would be able to sleep somewhere strange but I managed. Turns out I do have the sleep apnea but it is not a horrible case. Not sure what the dr is gonna do about it but we will see.
Going in for my fourth month check up this thursday. Two more to go, wahoo!! Now I just hope I don't loose my job because of this decision I have made for myself. If I do, I will move on being a happier, healthier me!!

Topic: mother of son having surgery 7/20/10 needs supportive friend in WI area
My 28 y/o son is having Roux-en-y gastric bypass surgery Tuesday 7/20/10 and I am helping as much as possible and would love to have someone to talk or email with about the trials and tribulations of being in my position. Live in northeast WI, he is having surgery at Theda Care in Neenah, WI. Is there anybody out there who would like to have a mutual banter and vent of whatever possibilities arise?
