I am new to the OH board, but I have had my sugery (2008) and lost 161 lbs. I had the DS with Dr. Luteskowsky in Michegan .

I have had a great experience and would highly recommend this journey to anyone who is thinking about changing their life for the better!

My name is Susan, I'm 46 and started my journey at 308lbs. I am down to 147 (as of yesterday) just 10 lbs to go!

I found this post this morning as I was looking for a support. I am 4 years post rny surgery. I had a tummy tuck and have done really well. I have recently gained 10 pounds and am struggling to get back on track. It is hard to believe I could have done this for 4 years and now am having trouble. I work out - but not as much in the summer as the fall and winter months. I am so discouraged and am struggling to not get so depressed. How are you guys doing? Have you found any success? The last few days, I have been preparing my meals the ngiht before. I find the old adage failing to plan is planning to fail so true. So I am trying to plan my day so I just do not grab anything. I find myself feeling very desperate. Have you found anything t hat is working for you?

I also live in Southgate, You should be home recovering from your surgery and if you were anything like me, you are regretting every minute of it LOL But I couldn't take the pain medicine so I was just miserable for a couple months. You are probably doing great and hopefully have a support system (I thought I had one until I had the surgery and then I found out different). This is going to be such a great thing for you and you will not regret it at all. I am 2 years out and just had my 3rd baby and now that I am getting back on the wagon I am excited about it all over again. You can do it and if you need anything let me know. Who knows we might even be neighbors. I'm around Northline and Dix.

I am 28 a stay at home mom to 3 boys ( 3.5, 2 and almost 2 months) I will be 2 years out RYN on Dec 1st. I to have issues with staying on track and so forth. It would be so nice to have some friends. My hubby is great but it isn't the same. My facebook is facebook.com/meganedney I would love to chat and all that. Congrats on the upcoming surgeries.
