Hello I'm 30 years old and line in nothern ontario canada . I had RYN WLS on June 3 2009 on last year . I'm looking for a penpal who also had RYN surgery . I don't know anyone else who has had wls and would relly like to have someone to talk to .

Hi Rose!  Well, you have met your Doc by now, right?  How very exciting for you.  Did it go well and were you pleased with him/her?  I was just surfing through some of the penpal people and saw yours about being impatient which I can totally relate to.  I know what  you mean about not being able to walk much and even just standing is a problem but I think is starting to get better - bed is most comfortable for me also.  Right now anyway.  (waiting to get the okays and for a surgery date)  Need to get back to the pool, and amongst people more.  But enough about that, just wondering how your appt with the doc went and how you're feeling about things now.  Hope you are having a great day!!

 My name is Tracy I live in Anderson SC, I have been going to classes since May 2010 I meet with my surgeon today for the first visit, hopefully he will tell me more today. I am suppose to be through with my classes by 15 of Nov,an surgery should follow soon..I am really excitied about getting my life back I have a 5 yr old an I havent been able to do alot with him physically,I have rheumoitd arthiris,I am 45 an hope to lose at least 100 lbs...Good luck to you hope all works out..
