I can't get my picture small enough to upload. How did you get yours to post? March seems so far off, but I know time flies. How much have you lost? What type of advice can you give me since my surgery is all the way in San Diego, CA, and I live in Bakersfield, CA. I was born at El Camino hospital in Mountain View so your not too far from there. I have sensitive skin and I had breast implants twice, but due to complications they are out of me for good, so I'm nervous about anymore elective surgery.

hey looking for a pen pal and perhaps someone that lives in the fredericton new brunswick area..to chat with and even meet sometimes for walks, coffee, discussions.etc...had my gastric bypass 4 years ago and i am now just going in for my tummy tuck...it would be nice to know someone else who has had this experience, thanks

I would love to share my experiences with you, however, I had my surgery in January this year.

I started asking my family doctor in July 2010. We had talked about it for a long time, but I tried other things first like Meridia, Weigh****chers and an exercise program. Nothing seemed to really work.
I had my first appointment at the Bariatric Clinic mid September and then things starting rolling from there. Hind sight is 20/20 and I now realize if I had made a couple of phone calls I would have been scheduled for surgery sooner, but it wasn't 100% clear to me what needed to be done at what stage. All in all, March works out better for me anyway. I have waited this long, another 3 months will seem like an eternity, but is nothing compared to living all these years over weight (at least that is what I am telling my self - ha, ha).

It will be six months on Dec 14th since my surgery.. Just looking for someone to chat with, so many changes going on, not a lot of people understand.
