What are you having done this time? I'm going to try to just lose the regain by diet alone, but if it doesn't work I'm going to talk with my surgeon and see what we can do. I want to lose the 70 #s plus a little more.

I have a band and the first time around, I lost 130 lbs... And I let stress and emotion getthe best of me.. But you know what we have that is an advantage.. We now know how much it takes to get through it... Mentally its rough, because you can't believe you have to start over again... But think of the Knowledge that we have now, just based on the experience we had... I'm excited for both us!!! How often do you get do overs in this game... Remember you always say "If I knew then what I know now"!!! Guess what, You DO!!!! Thats exciting!! It will make the road so much easier... And this time around.. i wanna get to 300.. that is my main goal...

Hi. I am so disappointed in myself right now. I'm really going to try to make this work.......So you're having it done again ? What are you having done? R/Y? I had that 7 years ago and never got sick or anything-but then my sugar started dropping too far and I was getting sick so the Dr's said to nibble to keep my sugar up-well I nibbled too much. Now I'm up 70 pounds.

LET'S DO IT..!!! You know exactly what I'm going through.. I'm in the same boat... But we are taking a stand... Saturday my first mission is to buy a scale.. (so I can keep it ALL in front of me...) I'm pumped... Let's Get it...

Yes, I am in the same boat as you, only mine is sinking faster! I am 9 years post op and have regained 73 pounds. I felt like a total loser for a while. I have decided to get RNY redid. I am not ready to call it quits. My new dr. has placed me on protein supplements and vitamins to prepare my body for surgery and despite people telling me that some people are meant to be fat....I am absolutely refusing to buy into it. Remember your goals...don't dwell on the past...and start anew. Tomorrow is a new day....live it without guilt. Go forward.

I'm 7 years out and originally lost 120 pounds. Since then I've regained 70 pounds.......I'm so disgusted with myself for doing this to myself, and would like to get back on track and lose the regain plus. Would you like to be pen pals with me and we can "help" each other?

Hi, my name is Julie and I had the R/Y back in 2004. I lost 120 pounds and would recommend it to all. I would have it all over again! But I have a problem. I got sick a few years back and now I'm up 70 pounds. I would like to have penpals to help support my getting back on the losing track again. Maybe we could help each other?
