Hi Rhonda. I have not had my surgery yet, 1st surgeon consult is on 1/10. I don't reach out much as I am quite shy, but if you need anything, just ask. I would love to have someone to share support with here. My prayers are with you for your quick recovery on Monday!

I'm Rose... I would love to help you with your questions... I dont come on here often so if you want to email me at [email protected] I will help you through this.. I had teh lapband in June 08.. It eroded had it taken out in Dec. 09 now working on getting it again.. Dont let the bad scare you sometimes you have to take the good news with the bad....
Having the lapband is easy to live with.. I pray you are sucessful in your journey.. But it is always nice to be able to talk to someone who has been through it .... What state u in?? I am in NC..I am 49 2 grown kids, a son and daughter and 2 beautiful grandsons.. But I look young...LOL.. at least thats what people tell me.. But i do still feel young and look it......Hope to hear from you...

Hi.. I'm having RNY surgery on 1/11/11 (maybe a good luck day??) and I was looking for people in my area. I'm living in Central Oregon, but I used to live in Camas, WA about 5 years ago.
How are you doing after your RNY? I'm soooo looking forward to my surgery, but also nervous. I just want it DONE! After going through 9 months of dr supervised dieting, sleep studies and so many numerous tests, I just want to be through with the surgery end of it. It seems like my life has revovled around food for so long, but after hearing about getting in your water, protein, medications, etc, it seems like I'll be more in-tuned with food than I ever was. Do you find it overwheming, or does it get easier with time.
