Topic: Looking for a friend and/or penpal
Well obviously would like to actually meet someone if you are in the San Diego, CA area otherwise I would accept a penpal from anywhere, it doesn't matter. Would love to find someone who has or is going to have roux-en-y (that is what I am having in July). It would be a plus if you are/were on the larger size (450+ starting point) but it isn't a necessity.
As far as me I am 33 (34 in a few weeks). I really want someone who can help me on this journey and I can help them. I know I can't do it alone. Let me know if you are interested with an email to [email protected].

I am from Austin however we are stationed in GA. I have a friend having hers in May in SA. Good luck and keep me posted. I had my surgery last Tuesday so I am tell you my expirence with it.

hey i had my gastric sleeve surgery feb 22 2011 so i know how you feel we can be penpal if you woull like we need all the support we can get when it comes to this journey my starting weight as 260 and im 220 lost 40 pds so far so if you like to more abt me write back and we can share our experience

Hello, I am 40 yrs old and live in hell errrrr I mean Wisconsins. (seems like the same thing in the winter) I am having the sleeve surgery on Tuesday and looking for a pal to keep my mind off things and someone to mutually encourage, understand and talk to. I use humor as a way to cope so someone with a sence of humor helps.
