I had the gastric bypass. I had the surgery 27th and I had some complications but now am so much better. I had my two week check up and am finally on the mend and lost 13 lbs.
How are you doing and do you have any progress?

Hi Jennifer, When will you be having surgery??? Which type of surgery do you plan to have??? I am in Va. Beach. I am having surgery with Dr. adams, he's out of the same practice as your surgeon. Have you been to the support group meetings they have??? I have attended a few in vb. They have one coming up the 11th that I will probably attend since it will be my last before surgery. My surgery should be Aug. 22 and I plan on having the VSG done. Kerry

I am a 42 year old woman who is going to have lapband surgery on Friday Aug 12, 2011. I am a little nervous. Am going for Endoscopy tomorrow 8/8/11. Would like some encouraging words from anyone on this weight loss journey.

I had surgery about 4 years ago and am starting to re-gain. I need someone to talk to about all the struggles we face and how to cope. I also need support and advice on how to get back on track, so I can lose what I have gained and get to my goal.
