Hi there!  My name is Char B. and I live in Ohio but wanted to offer some support since we have the same name and all.  I had my surgery June 29th, 2010.  I can't tell you how wonderful I feel and look and how much my health has improved.  I remember having to have the sleep study and then using a cpap breathing machine.  I no longer use it and no more diabetes either. I will be oraying for you, good luck!

 I had my VSG in November 2010.  I am looking for penpals from both sides of the Loser's Bench.  

The only thing I would prefer is someone who can write at least once a week.

A little bit about myself.  My name is Jane and I live in NJ.  My interests include asian drama, costume play, crochet, drawing, Twilight, vampires, and especially reading.  I'm .. I am geeky and a fan of everything asian.  I just turned 30 a few weeks ago... I'm married, and have a three year old son who just finished pottry training.  I'm very close with my mother.. and my job is so stressful that I usually prefer to veg at home whenever possible.  

In terms of where I am at fitness wise.. I have lost 104 pounds.  Am still struggling with getting used to my smaller self.. am still strugging with the fitness aspect.. would like to lose another hundred pounds to be at 200.

    The surgery is ok, the restriction is awesome, in my experience even from day one when I was drinking water with the sleeve I have never experienced this type of restriction with the band.  I do not feel a bulge where my port was at.  I do not throw up.  I had to switch because I had slippage with the band.  Do your homework, talk to others.  There is a also a revision forum that you can go into and they will also be very helpful in answering questions.  If you have further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

I am hoping to revise my lap band to probably the sleeve in the next 6 months. Always looking for someone to chat/talk with. I am 36 years old, married and have a family. I have lived in Texas my whole life but would love to talk to others even if not in Texas.  Hope to hear from youj soon.....
