Hello,
I am located in Orlando FL and am seeking others like me who either went through Gastric Bypass or who are scheduled to go through Gastric Bypass. I am scheduled for Surgery 10/31/11.
I am very interested in speaking with others who are in the same boat as myself (NEWBEES) or Post ops who wish to share their journey with me at this time.

Thanks everyone :D Everything went well I do believe. I have been home 2.5 days. I haven't taken any pain meds since the first day I got home and now just waiting until I can move!

I am having the gastric surgery. Not sure when exactly. I am in the process. Start the skills group on the 25th.. then have one more meeting with the nutritionist then the see the surgeon.
I am just having a hard time dealing with how I will look after I lose a lot of weight. I know that health is more important, but I have never been skinny before, and I am afraid I will not like how I look

I go on different evenings. Depends on my schedule with my daughters. They are 7 and 10. I was there this past Thursday. I think this week I am going on Monday. I'm the middle age one there! :-)
