Hi if anyone is still looking for a Pen Pal, I'm 39 female from PA. Married w/3 kids. I'm a transplant to the east coast so I dont have much of a support system. I've been so consumed taking care of my kids that I never took the time for myself to make friends after I moved here. It would be great to go through this journey with someone who understands. I'm pre-op my surgery will be sometime in March.

I am thinking of retiring there. We don't have to discuss weight problems unless
you want to. I also knit, sew, crochet, love to read, go to movies, etc etc. I

Hello. My name is Heather. I live in central Wisconsin in a small town named Kendall, WI I am a special education teacher and a medic on the local ambulance. I had bypass surgery in La Crosse, Wi on August 28th. I have had a rough time over the holidays and actually gained a few pounds- but need to forgive myself and get back on the wagon. My all time high was 276 pounds, I was 261 at surgery and am currently 206 on December 23. That makes post surgery weightloss of 55 pounds! My weight loss hasn't been as fast as I would have liked, but my doctor's are confident that I am doing ok. Can't wait to meet goal....
Call me old-fashioned...there's just something I love about writing good old-fashioned letters. I am only a little more than four months out from my RNY surgery. I don't necessarily need advice or anything as much as I would LOVE to be able to make friends, share successes and pratfalls, and just share in the enjoyment of a new life.
