I'm 14 days from my rny surgery and would love to have someone in my corner as a pen pal who has been through this and come through it with a positive attitude. I'm married, live in a rural area, in my mid-50's, and excited and scared about this new season of life I'm entering. I'll be having the surgery in Bismarck, ND with Dr. Steven Bock (new surgeon from Redmond, WA prior to his relocation to ND) on 2/4/14. Anyone????

I am 38 and two weeks post op today! I'm very excited for this opportunity to loose weight! I'm down 26 lbs since last Sunday!!
Looking for a PenPal in the Chicago area. We can share our journey together, it doesn't matter if you're in pre-op or post-op and it doesn't matter which weight loss surgery you had. I had my VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy) in June of 2010. Also, I use "MyFitnessPal". What do you say in being my PenPal?

Pre-op Weight: 476.40 pounds (2 weeks before {05/25/2010} VSG surgery), Pre-op BMI: 79.3
Lowest Weight: 153.5 pounds (as of 07/10/2013), Lowest BMI: 25.5
Current Weight: 350.75546 pounds (351 lb 0 oz./159.1 kilograms (as of 04/22/2019), Current BMI: 58.3
