Canadian Seeking a WLS penfriend - Email or Snail Mail

Hello out there! I have been into the hobby of penpalling since my teenage years and was wondering if there was anyone else out there who is seriously interested in this hobby. I am a what you would consider a long letter writer and typically type my letters. My letters are around 6-12 pages typed. I write to only a handful of people but do not have a special WLS friend. I'm 35, a teacher, and a Canadian. I teach Kindergarten and love it although it is fairly busy. I love reading, mysteries and thrillers, non fiction, true crime and magazines. I love People magazine, dogs (I have a golden and b.c.), cats and rabbits (yes I have lots of furry animals!), scented candles, lush, summer, swimming, travelling, bed and breakfasts, reading the newspaper, coffee, child development, celebrity gossip, The Apprentice, Judge Judy, HGTV.ca, real estate stuff, comedy, yard sales, dollar stores and more. I am having my surgery in July of 2006 - won't get a date til next month. I would especially love to hear from anyone in North America around my age (35) who is having surgery around the same time as me, has common interests or has been into penpalling as a hobby. I will only be able to take on a few new friends and don't mind email or snail mail. If you want to do email, please be aware that I am not able to write ASAP so if you expect to hear from me everyday, you will be sorely disappointed. I'm just too busy.
