Newbie looking for friends!

Hello, I'm 10 days post-op (lapband) and I'm down 15 pounds. I'm from bucks county Pa and I'm looking for some WLS friends to compare notes with and to help me through this journey. You can be pre-op or post-op, it doesn't matter to me. Hope to hear from someone soon. Mike

hi, i had wls on 12/28/05 , i wanted to have lapband but then had the rny gastric bypass so far i lost 66 pounds...so how r u doing so far ?

Hi Mike, I am pre/op for the RNY I would like to be your pen pal i live in Texas near the beach. My wife and I both are having the surgery. our date is in June I hope that things are going well with you I plan on hitting the weights after i get the go ahead from the Doctor jenn has done a great amount of research on both lap band and RNY she also has a big recipe index for post surgery. You are doing very well keep it up the main thing is activity and lots of it. You can have the best sucsess with a very active life. I am planning to trim down enough to go rock climbing and moutaneering in Colorado In '08 It is my little present for losing the weight. I am 5'10"and about 280 but i had a head injury in 1999 so i put on all this weight and no way to get it off. anyway lets talk about you. tell me about you when you write me back then we can e-mail back in forth if ya want too.
