36F, in England. Getting banded 04.13.06

36F, in Britain. Getting banded 04.13.06. Looking for a couple of other bandsters, pre and post op to email with. Trying to set up my support system before I have the surgery! I am living in England with my wonderful husband. Am kind of nervous - having a barium meal tomorrow to see if an old Hiertal Hernia is going to cause my surgeon problems. Have a visit to the endocrinologist on Friday. Have had my surgery consult and my nutritionalist/counselor. Am getting fired up for surgery. Would especially love to "talk" to anyone getting banded at a similar time. I am trying to read as many bandster's profiles as possible. I need to know that if mine will be a slow loss I can keep the momentum going. I am hoping that by reading long, slow success stories I will stay encouraged. Listen to me!! I haven't even been banded and lost my first pound yet!
