Hi John, my name is Tammy and I am from Ohio also....I just had my gastric by pass operation 4 weeks ago today...I am in search of a friendly pen pal to be supportive, helpful, to share ideas, and to be there for each other...I have lost 31 pounds since my surgery...Since end of January at my last weigh with my family doctor, I have a total loss of 63 pounds...I am anxious to get in smaller clothes, be able to walk without my knees hurting, go to the movies and to actually fit in the seats...I just want to be healthy...So far Ive been taken off 2 water pills, potassium pills, and my diabetic tablet...Where at in Ohio are you from, if you dont mind me asking....I am from Greenville, which is 45 miles northwest of Dayton...Doctor Derrick Martin did my surgery...hes a wonderful man...I was very pleased with him...I have a son Jason who is 27 years old and lives with me...I am divorced...I enjoy talking in chat rooms...I spend alot of my time on paltalk...This is my first time here...I also like to play the piano, sketch, make crafts and calenders...I miss some of the food that I used to eat...Guess it takes time to get into a new routine...Some nights I go to bed and just cry...But as each day comes along, I pray to God for guidance and strength...If you would like to write, feel free to do so...Would love a pen pal...Tammy / cupcake....am not sure how this program works yet, as I am new....please use my email if you [email protected]
