24/F in FL... would like some support

HI! Im a 24/F, busy, full time student and nanny and trying to find time to worry about myself for once. Somehow, I've let myself crawl to 300lbs. I feel and look disgusting, so I've decided that I need to do something with myself. I haven't yet begun my process, but hope to have this show on the road. I have my first appointment on Monday and hope to know more then. I hope to have the lap-band surgery. If anyone would be interested in chatting with me, I would love the support. ANYONE!! My husband is a body builder (BLAH) and totally is unsupportive and just doesn't understand. He doesn't want me to have any surgery. My first appt is Wednesday, i would love to be your pen pal and we could support eachother, my husband is supportive, but is stick thin and doesn't really understand my feeling of being overweight. Hi Andrea I just found this site and I live in greeancres floirda. I had my surgery on 2/9 and have lost 14 pounds. I had my surgery done by Dr. Wizman in margate.. He is the best.
