HELP! THINKING OF WLS

Hello, Im divorced of 2yrs. I am really needing some support because im not only thinking about getting WLS, my paperwork is almost complete. I have been overweight all of my life. I have been depressed for over 10 years about my weight and i have tried everything to loose weight. I keep gaining the weight back and im looking for a life solution. My BMI is 37 and I am really wanting to get this surgery but i have no support from family and friends. Can you be my mentor? Im afraid and I need help.

Hello Rae! I so happy for you with your decision on WLS. I'm sorry to hear that there is no support for you, one thing you can try is looking for a support group in your city/town, I am almost positive you will find one. I havent had the surgery yet myself, my date is 10.10.05, for me I choose to do this for myself. I am 31 years old with three kids and my health is my major concern right now. Have you tried reading others stories on WLS? I found the more I read , talked about or talked to people about WLS, the more confident I felt.
