Looking to Win Friends and Influence People :)

I am 8 days post-op and ready to take on the world! So far, I have not regretted my decision (ok....ok... there was that FIRST time I had to get out of bed but.... ) I am a 36 year old married woman in Albuquerque. I work full time on women and children's issues for the state government. My soulmate is a 5-year old Australian Shepherd named Sheila. We don't have children but part of the reason I did the surgery was to give it another try with a healthier body (I have actually marked my calendar as to the first day I can officially start making babies 18 months from now!! ) I love to email and chat so Email me at [email protected] hugs to all! Hi Kathi Glad to see that you have doing well after surgery. I love to chat too, and am always looking for new friends. Write me anytime , to talk, vent, anything ok. You can never have too many friends and support. What type of surgery did you have? RNY, Lap band? I have just started on my journey, I live in Bakersfield, CA and I have Kaiser Insurance. So it take awhile with them, my Dr. just referred me and I have an orientation Sept. 15th. I think the waiting is the worst part. How long did you have to wait? Oh and I am a 30 year old woman, married 12 years this year and I have a 5 yr old daughter. My daughter is my angel. So good luck on making those babies . Take care of yourself.
