VA LADY WANTS PENPAL/ FRIEND

I HAD MY SURGERY 7/7/05 AND I HAD LAPOSCOPIC RYN. I AM FAIRLY NEW AND SINCE ALL OTHER DIETS HAVE FAILED , I AM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED AND WORKING HARD TO FOLLOW THE RULES. I ALWAYS WANTED CHILDREN BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED, I DO HAVE ONE STEP-DAUGHTER AND 2 GRANDKIDS. I FEEL 25 SO IT FEELS STRANGE BEING A NANA. I HAVE SOME 4 LEGGED BABIES THAT I LOVE DEARLY. I LIVE ON A 250 ACRE FARM AND AFTER WORKING IN THE CITY I FEEL ALITTLE ISOLATED. I FEED ALL THE WILDLIFE AND DO NOT ALLOW HUNTING. I HOPE TO GO BACK TO BEING A VEGETARIAN BUT MY HUSBAND IS A MEAT AND POTATO MAN. I'M ALSO HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A PROTEIN POWDER I CAN TOLERATE. Hi JoAnne..I use to live in Gloucester Pt. VA..Moved there from Newport News..I had my Lap Band done 4.28.05 and still fairly new at this..I think we all tried multiple diets,OTC pills and prescription meds and failed..That's why the surgery is the last option..Thank God it can work..If interested you can email me back and we can correspond..I am 53 and have one son and a grandson who is 2 1/2..He calls me NaNa as well..I love it..have a great weekend..I love the country and am a nature lover as well..Carolyn

Hi JoAnne, Just returned home from a short vacation in VA. I love the state. Has so much beauty. How wonderful to be know so many languages. My daughter is the same way. She is always into a different one. My husband and I also bought a farm but smaller 54 acres. We lived in southeastern PA at the time . He didn't like the commute to work. We moved here to western PA. We have been here for 12 years this October I am approved for surgery and waiting my date. Have a great day. MaryAnn
