My husband wants me to lose weight but just told me last night that he is not in agreement with the process that I have chose to go about accomplishing that. Hi Anita,I am a 44 yr old women married a mother of two and proud grandmother of 2 girls. I had the WLS Aug 9th of 2004 and that was the best thing ever. My starting weight was 270 pounds I now weigh 155 pounds. you mentioned that your husband want's you to lose wt, what about you? do you want to lose wt? You have to want this for you and only you because the surgery is very serious and you have to make a lot of sacrifices!!! as well as a life style change. However, be sure that you're having the surgery for you most and first of all because if you're doing it only for your husband you may not do as well.
