Feeling a Little Alone

I had LapRNY 1 week ago today. I have thus far had no complications, but I go for my one week follow-up visit this afternoon. The main problem I'm having is the lack of interest in my family and friends in what's going on with me. It's like they just do not understand the extreme thing I've done, and how very much I need emotional and mental support right now. I think I need a surgery buddy. Someone I can scream and cry to about the good/bad/ugly things I'm going to be going through, and someone that can scream and cry back. I have 2 great danes and 1 cornish rex cat. My animals are like my children. I am an English instructor at a local community college so I am extremely interested in literature, particularly old / middle English. I read trashy smut novels just to clear my head. I love love love to cook (and of course I did love to eat). I am extremely open-minded about lifestyles and life in general. I am engaged to a semi-great guy (it's an anti-man day) whom I love more than anything else. That's a little about me. Anybody think we could click and be friends?? Jennya

OH Jennya. Please PLease PLease let me be your pen pal. I am having my surgery on June 10 I am so excited . I would like to talk to some one who can give me a heads up on what to expect. But most of all I love love love Great Danes I do great dane rescue . I had to have my personal Dane put down in August but it still hurts just like it was done yesterday. I have 3 kids . I weigh 225 but i am only 5"1. I live in Savannah GA. and am 30 years old. Please let me know if your interested in chating.
