Hi Tara, My name is Nissah and although I am not your age I know what you are going thru. When I was your age I was 280 lbs, and had 2 children. I did not worry about my weight because I was in college and raising children and no time to worry. I am glad to read that you want to do something about your weight before it gets out of hand. And I am a true witness that it can get out of hand. Now at age 31, I am 360 lbs and am a social mess. The father of my children left us in July 2004, WHY? Go figure, because I had gained a lot of weight. So, what I am saying is "if your friends are not overweight, they will never know what you are going thru and they will never understand". Be strong and if you would like to chat, I am here. Again, I know exactly what you are going thru and at a young age, people, especially men, are going to reject you, because they do not understand. Don't pay them any attention and just let them see the outcome after you have your surgery and then LAUGH yourself to tears in their face, when you are looking better than they imagined, I am.
