Hi Shirley, I am 32 and I have already had the surgury. I feel great and I am told I look great. As you are going thru these 8 months keep thinking about this.. When I had the surgury I was taking 2 high blood pressure pills a day. Dr. V told me when I left the hospitial not to take them. I also had been doing regular blood work for low blood sugar. Not anymore. I can see my feet. I know how you feel and will be praying for you and your family linda williams
