Looking For a Pen Pal..and Friend...
Hello Beverly: 
My name is Kim and I am from Milford, CT. I am a Post-Op patient now, I had the Laporscopic Gastric Bypass on December 30th and I am doing great so far. It was alittle scary for me to go into the hospital but I had alot of love and support from family and friends. The worst of it was the morphine, hated the feeling. They promoted me very quick to stage 3 which was liquids and I got to go home a day early too. 
I have been home about three weeks now and I have lost 32lbs. In the past it would of took me months to do that. I am not hungry, not craving and get full very quick. 
I wanted to wish you all the luck and congratulate 
you on your decision in the journey to the losing side. The WLS family is so supportive and caring. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and if you ever have any questions or concerns or just want to chat you can email me when ever you would like to.
I hope to be going back to work the second week in February, have to wait for the doc's ok though. I will keep checking up on you to see how your doing before, during and after surgery if you would like too.
Sorry I don't live close to be able to come see you, but I will be there for you in spirit. I hope that is ok with you.

Hello! My Name is Tammy Ingerson! I am having Gastric Bypass Surgery on February 9th too! I am from Colorado Springs! I thought it would be good to have someone to chat with that is having surgery the same day and going through alot of the same things! You know you can never have enough support!
