Need vbg to rny pen pal support

I am in great need to have some one to talk to regarding my upcoming revision.Jan 18 2004 i am so confused, scared, nervous, and just don't know if i have made the right choice after reading the different forums on the web. i know i can't live like this with the constant nausea, vomiting, abd pain and mental angious it has caused me.i have chose to have the RNY revision and then i think about the DS but i have mixed feeling about having the DS what are your feelings. need support Carey [email protected]

Carey I am so sorry your surgery isn't working out for you. I don't have constant nausea only if I eat the wrong things and sometimes I do, so I do know the feeling your talking about. Vomiting is minimal and the abd pain comes with me not doing the right things, I ate Kellogs Raisin Bran (for the fiber) no problem. Then one day I ate a bowl and wanted to die, the nausea and abd pain was terrible. I will never eat rasian bran again gave my daughter all three boxes I had left. Mental angious I had big time. I became very depressed after my surgery and have been put on 3 diff meds I think the one I am on right now is working. From what I have researched this is normal and another set back for us to deal with. In my opinion I couldn't tell you to revise or not to reverse the RNY surgery without more information. I would like to know if you are able to eat anything without pain, how much you have lost, when did you have the surgery, then I would be able to give an opinion but alway keep in mind the ultimate choice is up to you.
