5 months post-op

Hi Kimberly. Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss!! My name is Lisa and I am in Ontario, Canada. I am just beginning this journey, still trying to learn as much as possible about WLS. I am 38 (well, I will be later this month!) . I have been overweight almost all my life and right now at 5 feet 5 inches tall, I weigh a whopping 250 lbs. I really think that WLS will be a huge step in the right direction for me. A step towards a healthier me! I'd be happy to correspond with you . I too like to talk or should I say 'type' so I think we might be good penpals!

Hey Kim I'm 5 months post-op will be 6 months on the 28th of the month. It has been a journey so far but if I had to do all over again I would do it in a heartbeat. I have lost 102# so far but I started out at 277 with alot of water retention called edmea, once the weight started to drop my kidneys and bladder started to work at top speed so some of the weight lose was water. I feel really good now knowing I have alot more work and a life long commitment ahead. I would love to chat, take care. Jennie
