Nervous-would like penpal!!

I am planning on having surgery this coming summer. I am still deciding on a surgeon. I have mixed feelings about the open and lap. Nervous about questions to ask doctor. Would love to talk to someone. Thanks. Bobbi Franco

Hello Bobbi My name is Tina, and I live in VA. This is my first time on the penpal thingy, so bear with me. My surgery is 11/24/2004, three days away. I will be having the lap. My surgeon also agreed to the lap, but if he has any difficulties "we" agree to go ahead with the open. Once you find the right surgeon, explain to him how you feel and see what he thinks. I would like to talk to you about the open and lap band surgery. I had the open 2 years ago January. I am very happy with it. I had a lot of complications but it was all worth it.
