EXCITED BUT WORRIED.... NEED PENPAL

Hello folks, I am very worried about becoming approved, My insurance will not cover this procedure after Dec. 31st. and I am on pins and needles right now and need someone to talk to. I have done all that I have been told to do, I am now waiting on my blood work to come back so the surgeon can send in my paperwork. but from what I am hearing from you guys it is taking 4 to 5 weeks to get a response. I may not make it.

You must have BCBS. I also have bcbs and was denied at first sent an appeal and was approved within 1 1/2 weeks. and had a surgery date scheduled with in 1 week. My surgery is Friday the 12th and i think you will have no problems just call the insurance co. and your dr.s office and keep them on the ball....good luck

I have BCBS horizon HMO I was approved in 48 hrs. And had my surgery on 9/21/04. If you would like to talk just let me know. Hang in there and don't panic. Good luck Laura
