Hi you all, I have been reading everything I can on WLS, and looking at all the fine pictures of you all and your weight loss. I am just getting all the insurance papers together and hope to have surgery sometime late this year or early next year. I am looking for penpals, or epals to just talk with. Hi Steve, We are on the same journey. I have read pretty much everything on wls. I go for orientation on the 21st of this month. I have to get all the papers together so I can be prepared when I do go. If you would like we can be epals. yvonne....

Hi Steve, I am finally just about there NOv 23rd. LOL It has bbe quite a ride getting here. Sometimes I almost gave up but I stuck with it and it has payed off. I would love to chat with you about your journey and be of some kind of support if you need. I know this is a wonderful opportunity for us but not an easy way so we can use all the support we can get. Julie

Hi Kathy, Well, are things still going well? I have a date with the dietician tomorrow and the shrink on Friday. I am really looking forward to this. I know some who had the lap band from the chat line. Is there a reason u chose the lap instead of the RNY?
