Over 50? Anyone?

Hi there, looking to meet someone over 50 and 3-4 mos. out from surgery, like me. I live in the west, divorced, 2 grown kids, two grandkids, work fulltime for govt. had RNY 6/11/04 down 54 lbs. would love to hear from other ol' gals like me. Connie

Hi Connie, I am a 52 year old woman who is 3 months out. I had my surgery on 06/09/04 and I have lost 47 pounds. I am a medical secretary for a vascular surgeon and I also work full time, always have and looks like I always will. Retirement does not seem to be an option for a long time. I am married and have two grown sons and three grandchildren. My oldest son is career Air Force and lives in North Dakota and my yougest son is in college in Nashville which is 3 hours from my house in Memphis, Tennessee. I am also interested in hearing from someone my age who has been through this same journey. Rita
