Plastic surgery info

In Iowa~ I haven't been on for awhile, I am wondering about the "theory" (or reality) of the burn centers using the excess skin from panniculectomy and where, if anywhere do they do this and how do i find out more about it. Do they help pay for the procedure or do you just "donate" your skin. And, does insurance EVER pay for this procedure? My surgery was almost a year ago and I am down 135 pounds and happy as a little clam!
