Looking for a pen pal
Hello I am a 26 year old female in Michigan and I am in the process of trying to get approved for wls. I would love to find a pen pal that is either pre-op or post-op it does not matter to me. I have lots of family support but it is not the same as having someone who is going or who has gone through the same thing. So if anyone is interested please let me know.
Crystal, Hello My name is Tammy I was just approved for surgery after of 1 year working with Aetna Insurance. I am scheduled for surgery September 2, 2004 I am currently going through the pre surgery appointments The Pshychologist, The Dietitian, physical Theraphy and the pulmonary function test. I had my Hpylori blood test done last week and on August 19th I have to have my Psych Eval done. My insurance is such a pain to deal with. They want 2 years of Dr's notes that I don't have because I don't go that often, and 2 years of diet history that I kind of have so I am trying so hard to get all of this stuff so I can move forward. I might just submit what I have and see what they ask for after that. Maybe with some luck a LAZY person that does not want to do their work that day will be reviewing my info and say suuuuuuuuure set her up for sergery.....lol. (Just wishful thinking). I would love to chat. It will be nice to have someone to share the process with

It will be nice to have someone to share the process with Crystal, Well the first time I submitted to my insurance they denied me because I had not been to a dietitian for 6 months. I was so peeved but I went and thankfully the insurance did cover the visits and I just had to pay my copay. I did learn alot though I do have to say that and the lady that I had I love. She is a wonderful person as well as a great dietitian. I go for my psych eval Aug 9 I was told it would take about 3 hours. I am not sure what all they could possibly want that would take 3 hours. I start my liquid diet August 23,and will continue that till the day of surgery
I have to do Carnation instant breakfast one every 3 hours . I am not real sure how that is going to go....lol I will talk to you soon...
