I am just starting this journey...I have seen the nutritionist and did the psych eval but I haven't seen the doctor yet. Hello Melaine, I have just finished my tests unless the surgeon says i need something else. But my insurance company MVP Select Care and Surgeon required that I go through an Ultrasound of my Gallbladder, Pulmonary test, Cardiology with echo, Nutritonist, Psycholgical Eval. and when I took the Pulmonary test and then had my consultation with the DR he suspected that I had sleep apnea, so I went the first time slept very little. The results were I had a minor case of it. I had to go back using the mask once again slept little and I am just waiting for the results. If all goes well I will have to call the surgeon and tell him to start the insurance part as long as results were good. That is what I went through thus far.
