need a pen pal over40

Hi, I am 53 yrs old and looking forward to having the bypass surgery. I have my first doctors appointment next week..I am looking forward to it alot. I have 2 grown children and a wonderful supportive husband. I do not have grandchildren but would enjoy hearing about yours..grins.. I am a registered nurse and for years I worked 50-60 hrs a week for a very long time. I do not work now and spend my days at home with my husband who is operating his own business. We live close to the Connecticut shore of Long Island Sound..a beautiful area..too bad I cannot take advantage of it. I am hindered by my weight and the effect of it on my health. Hi! I am 50 as well. 10 years RNY post op (working on my blog now for a better story bout me) and have 5 grandkiddies- 6,5,4,3 & 2. I had four children of my own and the grand kiddies are spread over 3 of them. My husband and I are raising the 5 year old girl and provide day care for the 2 year old boy since birth. I didn't realize there were so many of us older folks here. I would love to chat with this whole group.
