I am 50 years old too! I have 2 grandchildren 5 and 22 months. I them dearly and also missed out when my 2 children, now 26 and 18 were growing up because I worked so much. I want so much to have this surgery so that I can enjoy my family. (so many things you can't do because of the weight) I have been married for 27 years.My husband wasn't real supportive at the beginning of my journey but, has learned a lot more about it and knows now that this is what I need to do for me.I think he was more afraid of all the risks involved.Talk to ya later
