Looking for a Penpal
I have lost and gained over and over again...tried many different programs....with the help of friends and without...I am looking for someone who KNOWS the struggle and is willing to offer support and friendship on the journey. I have recently started to lose weight again and need a positive voice in my ear from time to time...but also a voice that is honest when I need to hear some painful truths....I am 55 with some mobility issues that make typical exercise difficult...I can offer what I ask for myself....if you're interested? let me know! thanks!
Good morning. I am interested. You are the only person who answered. I guess we are the only ones struggling and willing to talk about it. My name is Ellen by the way. I was 301 lbs and 70+ yrs old in 1/11/11 and had gastric bypass on that day. I lost 100 lbs and then because I am unable to walk, I started regaining. I then lost hope and started eating like I shouldn't. Then began the up and down. I am now 218 and scared to death I will gain another pound. I thought If I could just get a handle on it again. Maybe if I could share my struggle. Maybe someone could help me try harder. Hence I asked for a penpal. Maybe we can help each other hold on.
Hi I'm Sandra. I'm 30 years old and I am above 300lbs. However...I have lost 45 already...and looking to lose A LOT more.
I currently live in Fresno California (about 3 hours from LA) and I am looking for buddies to work out with. I have a friend who lives in South Carolina and every day we would text message each other our work outs. Well unfortunately she had a tragic loss in her family and she no longer has the momentum. Although I am doing everything I can for her and she KNOWS I will be here for her when she's ready, I want to continue my workouts.
Because of the awesomeness that we have started...I realized via cell phone (APP, so no phone numbers are exchanged) I am able to work out with whoever wants to exercise. So that is why I'm here. I already have a group started...but its REEEEEEEEALLY SLOW. My goal is to have 2 or 3 workouts posted each day.
All of this will make more sense if you check out the link below. It is a local womens only group, but I am able to extend the WORKOUT version (vs personal in town meetups) to those far and wide. Its free, easy, and innovative so if you want to just at least check it out let me know ok! =)
PS: I'm looking for people who will actually POST workouts...vs join and never do anything :P

I just found your post. I too am gaining weight again and I'm worried that i'm going to gain it all back. I only lost 122 pounds ( starting at 376) so I need to lose at least 100 more but I'm so tired of eating only low carb foods. I could use a pen pal too . I also use a walker because I need two knee replacements. Lets support each other!!!
