Penpals from all over

I'm looking for penpals from anywhere to share in starting this journey.  I"m scheduled for RNY at the end of September.  I'm incredibly nervous!  I'm mid-30s with no human children (but two precious dog-kids) I have a supportive husband and a few friends who know about my surgery.  I'd like to talk to people who have been through this.  I'm open to anywhere in the world!

How exciting that your surgery date is almost here...I know you must be anious, nervous excited? (I know I was! I had my RNY on April 16, 2012 and have never been happier about my decision! Hello my name is Natasha. I had the RNY Feb 2009. I was very anxious as I'm sure you are. Hands down best decision I ever made. I have lost 190lbs total. It is great that you have support as you will need them. The mental changes take longer to take affect  than the physical changes. For me I could see my body chaging and becoming smaller but I still seen 370lbs when I looked in the mirror. I would enjoy being part of this journey with you :). My email is [email protected].
