Looking for a PenPal in Northern Virginia- pre-op

I'm new to this forum and would like to find a few people that are in my area and are pre-op so we can share our experiences with.
I'm still in the early insurance approval stages. Still gathering all of my "recomendations" from my providers.
I'm hoping to have surgery sometime in August. I had LapBand back in 2008 and had it removed in 2010 from complications.
So please let me know if you want to be penpals!

 Hi my name is Rachael I live in dc and work in Alexandria VA. I found this post and request for a pen pal as I begin my weight loss journey. I am in process of insurance verification also. I have one last dietician appointment Friday and then my pre scheduling appointment the 24 th. my 51 st birthday is the 26 th. I gave myself to age 50 to do this wt loss thing on my own and I didn't so here I am ready to take the plunge. I thought I had responded to this. That's great! I was just approved last Thursday and my surgery date is 8/14. that would be great to go through the journey together. I'll be 35 in 2 weeks. So now it's time to run around to a bunch of dr. appointments.
