Hello All,
So, I am back.  :o)  Boy things have changed A LOT since this website first started up.  I like the changes, but it seems harder to connect at times with folks.  I am hoping to meet some people that can help me get back on track, and start losing weight again. I have maintained my current weight for about a year now, (which is what I weighed back in 2002? I think..) Anyways, that is still too much for my liking, I need to lose about another 100.  I am a RNY gastric patient.  11 1/2 years post op.  I had surgery when I was 18, I weighed 407 pounds day of surgery, at my heightest weight...420ish.  I got down to about 187.  Then, I regained about 100 back, over the years.  Life happens, always does, got married, had a baby, etc.  It has been good though!  Never any regrets!
So, I am looking for some folks, I dont care how old, post op. pre op, male, female, etc.  I am not picky.  :o)  Share hardships and challenges we are facing, share in joys, and accomplishments.  Providing encouragement, that sort of thing.  Oh, and I love opinions. hehe, and sharing mine too!
Here is what I have been doing so far this year, I am in TOPS...(The group is not as "cool" as the other Tops group, but oh well...)  I have been working out using the Wii, everyday, so far.  My legs are KILLING me. I am TRYING to eat healthy.  I should use a food journal but I HATE writing stuff down.  I am also trying to take my vitamins again, as a post op, it is really important for us to do so.  Forever.  I would like to lose at least another 50 pounds, and then try and get pregnant again. I have a little one who is getting ready to turn 2.  Maybe I can get another little miracle...it could happen. maybe.... (Yes, I am married!)
I would like this to happen this year.  It is doable.  But it will take dedication. lol, (The weight loss...not the baby making....  ;o)  )  I would love to hear back from others.  Hear about your journey.  What are your goals, dreams, etc.  If you haven't guessed by now, I am a talker, I am an open book.  I will answer any questions you have about weight loss surgery.  I did that quite a bit, when I first was starting out. lol, I was like a poster child, back then, since I was young, and it was still sort of new back then.  Best of luck to you all.  Hope to hear back from someone...anyone.
