Looking for a penpal

I have yet to recieve a surgery date....I'm still going through the whole process. I can't waaaaait.

I need someone to be able to talk to about the thoughts and anticipation. No one understands  and I only told a few people that I'm going to have WLS.

I'm Erica. I'm a newbie at this WLS thing too. I just started my process as well. I have my second appt. with the nutritionist on this coming Friday. I haven't weighed myself because I wanted to see if everything I've been doing since our last meeting has actually worked. Congrats on starting the journey to a healthier you. I will take the time to check out your blog, you seem like a you want this and your fully committed "which is GREAT!".

Thanks. I'm just getting back from a meeting about things to expect Post Op. It went really well. Only a few more things to do before it's time to submit in the paper work for approval anda surgery date. Were you put on the Ketosis diet? As long as you stick to whatever s/he told you to do I'm sure you'll do fine.

I just received my approval letter from my insurance company.

What procedure are you looking into?

Outstanding!  Did you have the procedure?? yes right...??

Well, I'm looking at the sleeve or rny.  Approval is more challenging with the sleeve.  I'll likely be submitting this week or next.  I had to get another test done which I finish up tomorrow. 

 Congrats on your approval. I'm in the process, I have my first meeting with my surgeon on January 5,2012. Please keep us posted on your journey. I'm sure everything will work out for you.
