Looking for a pen pal in Georgia

I am a newbie.  I will see my surgeon for the first next week. I am looking for someone to share this experience with....not to hold my hand but someone who is also new to the experience or someone who is already on the journey.

How far along are you...have you had surgery?

I am going to see my surgeon this morning..I am nervous... scared... excited....it would take a novel just to list the emotions.

My surgery is July 12th.  My doc doesn't require a special diet preop so I am not going through that.  Who will be doing your surgery?

Oops I reversed my numbers.  It's the 21st.  It was originally to be the 12th but I changed docs and hospitals... When is your surgery?

I really feel terible I missed your message.  I am still trying to navigate this site and I just found the penpal messages this morning.

LOL....I was feeling so terrible and you reversed your numbers.  I do not have a surgery date yet so I will be a few weeks behind you.

You only have three more days before surgery....how do you feel?  I am so excited for you!

Hi Lynn,

I already have the Lapband and it slipped I'm looking into the RNY.  I live in Harris County near Columbus Georgia.  It would be great to have others we can chat with in the area for support.
