Looking for a support person

 Hi, I am looking for a female penpal/support person to chat with. I am two weeks post gastric banding, having some unwanted side effects!! Just would like someone who may have a bit more experience or knowledge than I do.  I applaud anyone else who is going through this!

Hi Maryanne,  I would love to have a penpal who is closer to my surgical date, within a few months, also... I'm just at the end of two weeks now, so the pain, etc. (that I have) is much better.  I had people in my pre-procedure classes who were fine within 2-3 days and walking around, etc.  I am a little more of a difficult case as I also have chronic pancreatitis, a digestive system illness, if you are not medical. Sometimes I may switch over to medical speak from being a nurse since 1988!  Sorry if I do that, I am the patient now!  Debbie/ShrinkingDaisy
