newbie looking for friends!

I am getting everything in order to schedule my surgery and am so excited. My name is Amy, I am 35 and newly divorced. I am looking forward to a new and healthy me! I am new to this and it would be great to hear about your experiences.

Hi Amy!!! I had my band done in July...Best thing i've done for myself!!! and I feel great. Iknow what you mean about new friends I just relocated to Middletown,ct and I too are looking for positive new friends lol. What type of wls are you having? and when?

I am new to this too. I have already been seeing a nutritionist, and have my first consultation with my surgeon. I believe it will be easier to get through all of this with support from new friends and fellow WLS patients. I have decided on the RNY, what surgery are you looking into, or decided on?  Hope to hear from you.
