just starting out at the very beginning!!!
Hi My name is Barbara and i am 29 years old married for over 9 years and have a 2 year old daughter which is my world. i am handicap due to a back injury i had several years ago, making me bed ridden alot of the time. i have been over weight all my life. my parents said i was considered overweight before i was 2 years old.
curently i am 328pounds and 5ft. my bmi is 64. i just found a dr (dr sadek out of robert wood johnson university hospital in new brunswick new jersey)that is trying to find out if my insurance covers wls and if not he is willing to fight for me and to work with me in anyway possible.
i have high blood pressure, astma, ateck i cardia (rapid heart rate all the time even when sleeping), 3 ruptured disks in my low back, 1 hurniated disk in my neck, sacro illiack artheritus, siatica, 2 pinched nerves off my siatic nerv, artheritus, and fibromialgia.
I am looking for someone to go threw this journey with me. my mother is also getting the sergery aswell with the same dr but she isnt really close to me as far as wanting a buddy program. i want someone i can talk to about anything from my kid to my family and my wls goals and trials i am going threw as well as help you with anything you may be going threw as well.

Hi Barbara, My name is Peggy, and I will probably have my surgery sometime in may or june. I had to go thru a 6-month weight loss with my Dr. for my insurance. I have my dietician and therapist appointments week after next. I am 261 and 5" , I am 57 and I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. I am excited and scared at the same time, I just hope I don't back out. My son-in-law got his band on Feb. 22. He is doing okay.I work for a local daycare center, will be there 7 years on 04/05 , I started on my birthday. I cook at the center, drive a bus, and assist in the office.
