Having revision surgery from band to rny

 I'd love to have a penpal that has had a similar experience. I am in the RDU, NC area.

 Can I ask why you decided to have an RNY instead of a VSG?

 The RNY was the only option my dr. discussed with me.

I am having my band removed and having the RNY on Wednesday I would love to keep in touch and share experiences.

Are you home yet? I got home on Friday. Everything has gone well, so far....in fact, easier than I expected. I am still not feeling totally up to par, but I can tell each day I'm getting a little better.I am supposed to be on clear liquids til tomorrow, but I cheated last night and had a few spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt. No ill effects.

How are you all doing?  I went in for my revision surgery yesterday but ended up with just a band removal.  My band had slipped and damaged my stomach.  Can't do anything for 3 months...
