Hi Toni,

good luck with your surgery. I am hoping to have mine sometime in the next few weeks. Let me know how it goes when you get out of hospital.

Hi Ann~

I got our of the hospital on Thursday. If I would have pressed hard they would have let me go home Wednesday evening.   I wasn't able to drink enough fluids and my fever spiked over 100 a few times Wednesday. Thursday I was able to drink the fluids and my fever was fine and I went home around 1PM.  It's been going OK. I am on a liquid diet until 9/17. I am finding a few foods I cannot tolerate but otherwise it's going OK.

I had laproscopic RNY and have five incisions sites all are doing fine.  My pain is manageble with 1/2 dose of pain meds every 4 hours.

Do you have a surgery date?

Toni

Hi Ann

I am new to this site (just signed up today).  I am scheduled for RNY surgery on Oct 4th and was glad to read that you had your surgery and you are doing well.  Do you have any other feedback on what to be prepared for?

Best of continued luck with your recuperation.

 Toni,

Hi - I'm 44 and just got out of the hospital this Wednesday. I have 6 incision sites. Sore and I have terrible cravings. How is it going for you.
