Looking for an e-pal - doing sleeve in 1 week (je parle français)

Hello, bonjour !

I am set for surgery on 8/16 (RNY or sleeve) and I would love to have an e-pal for emails, messages, IMs or texting about similar feelings.

I am French speaking too, so if you speak French, we could do this in French too...

I'm a mom of three, wife of muscular, slim husband and a high school teacher.

Hi there I am Lisa 38yrs old..I am in San Diego CA...single mom of one 8 yr old boy..
I had my VSG on 7/19/10 I have lost 27 lbs..I was 263 at start.(the first 10 were from the pre op liquid blah diet)  I dont speak French..but maybe we can support each other in this journey...so far I am doing great if you have any questions I feel like I am getting pretty educated just reading all of the notifications on here. I am learning so much like I said just from being on here.. I am also on Thinner Times...it is a pretty cool site as well.

I am a year older than you... hate to admit I'm no longer 28....  maybe in a year, I'll be better able to get by on that again !

I am 278 today - this is down four in a week of liquid dieting.... I have another week to go before surgery....
I also like learning things on here, it has been only two days, but I am learning so much!
I will check out Thinner Times too!
You are brave to do this as a single mom.... you still have to feed your son...  I am having my husband feed the kids so I don't have to think about food at all...
Once we are friends on this, I will give you my personal info.
